Creating content and writing Bible content along with mental health education is something I’ve been doing on a national level since 2018. I’ve been creating lifestyle and fashion content since 2015. I love what I do and probably won’t stop.
• I know many people have strong opinions about theology and about mental health and about how to use these two fields of study together. In my opinion they go together beautifully and that’s what you will find here.
• Please know that when it comes to faith and what I believe it’s a personal decision. I am a therapist who also believes that Jesus heals. You could also say l am a therapist who is a Christian. My faith gives me the motivation behind therapy, however, it does not change how I practice. You do not have to be a Christian to work with me. I really desire my clients to lead in how they want spirituality to influence their therapy sessions.
I hope these reminders help facilitate a healthy community.

Being a pastors wife is one of weirdest roles out there in my opinion and it is not for the faint of heart. I think we should talk about it more. The Hilary Duff concert had me in tears, and I’ve been trying to understand why. My friend Katie sent me a reel after the concert and it talked about Hilary’s branding. She didn’t rebrand or come back as someone totally different. She came back as herself. She came back showing us that growing up doesn’t mean leaving a part of you behind.

I think so many of us were raised to chase ambition — to go hard after a career, to prove ourselves, to build a life that could stand on its own. And that was important.

But somewhere along the way, I wonder if some of us were never really told how beautiful motherhood could be, too. Or how meaningful it could feel to build a home, love a family, and be present in the moments of life. Sometimes it felt like the very things that are uniquely feminine — tenderness, nurturing, motherhood, softness — were framed as things that would hold us back from becoming who we were supposed to be.

And for a lot of women, that fear is valid. We’ve experienced power dynamics that made motherhood, marriage, and womanhood feel complicated. As millennial women, our experience has looked different from our mothers’. Many of us were raised by dads who told us to have careers and be independent, while also watching men from that same generation remind us that there was still a ceiling — and it was made of glass.

Whether it’s mean-girl dynamics, underpaid overwork, a partner who isn’t showing up as a true teammate, or the constant pressure to give more while being seen less—it can leave you burned out and unable to be fully present.

It was refreshing to see another millennial woman enjoying motherhood, marriage, her family, and her life — while also getting to revisit the favorite parts of the career that shaped her. 🤍🫶💖

What does it really take for a marriage to last?

Not perfection.

Not avoiding every fight.

Not always agreeing or getting it right the first time.

A healthy marriage is built slowly — through trust, honesty, repair, and the willingness to keep turning toward each other when things feel hard.

The strongest couples are not the ones who never have conflict. They are the ones who learn how to move through conflict with care. They apologize. They listen. They take responsibility. They choose repair over resentment.

Because lasting love is not about never struggling.

It is about learning how to keep choosing each other in the middle of the struggle. #marriagetherapist

I love creating spaces that inspire me and also keeps me focused on my goals. Working on finishing my CPTT (certified partner trauma therapist) training this year and going to start my going through the process for my clinical license this year. 🙏 I was talking to my supervisor for betrayal trauma work and she was talking about how she makes doing groups and carrying a caseload possible throughout the year. I needed a visual to picture what possible future group work and workshops may look like. Super excited. 🙌👏

And this is why I am launching three new planners + journals this year. I’m so excited about this. It’s how I am able to work with clients, be a mom and stay creative. I love my planner I created three years ago but I wanted to be able to customize the planner more and to help other build their own systems. If you want to get on the launch list comment JOURNAL

@doctorramani is the best when it comes to a candid conversation about narcissism.

And finally @beingwellpodcast is always one of my faves when it comes to talking about all things mental health. Also love that they are a father son duo. I’m continually wanting to learn more about secure attachment and reparenting. 🤍✨👏

Empowerment starts when you take steps towards safety and truth. 🤍🙌✨ I wanted to create a version of it to help me visualize these concepts. Hope this helps!

Yes, yes I do. Going to therapy myself has been so beneficial. The first time I went I was blown away at how powerful it was to just be listened to for 50 min. I remember I would just sit in silence with my therapist enjoying that there was no pressure to talk or listen or anything. There was no pressure. And having someone sit with me in a season of life when I didn’t have anyone to sit with me changed my brain chemistry. #therapyforwomen #therapybyhannah #mentalhealth

As a little girl I loved Cinderella. She was always my favorite. I signed Rhema up for a princess afternoon a few months ago since she asks to watch or sing or dance to “ice” which she means “frozen”. 😂 but once she met Cinderella she didn’t leave her side. It was magical. The moms around me noticed how much she loved Cinderella.

I know she is her own person and I am truly excited to keep watching who she becomes. That being said, there’s definitely some unmistakable personality traits we share. I find myself having so much compassion for my younger self too as I watch her be a big sister, experience life for the first time, and make friends. Was not prepared for how protective I am of her and if anyone ever says,

“she needs a strong man to keep her in check” (i cannot tell you how many times i heard that)
or “she’s too opinionated”
or “she’s too much”

I will definitely use my eldest daughter trait and speak my mind. Nope 👎

she is kind, so empathetic, wisely cautious, brave, and complete just the way she is. And I love how independent she is but also she knows who her people are. It’s wild how you can see that already in her adorable personality as a two year old.

I want to always be the person she feels she can be safe with. I want to make sure she knows she can come to me when she needs comfort and to not be so strong. She will always be my baby. That doesn’t change just because she has other siblings.
